Mohamed Foda claimed victory in the Men Open Bodybuilding division at the 2026 Detroit Pro on March 14 in Detroit, Michigan, earning a direct qualification to the 2026 Mr. Olympia. The IFBB Pro League event featured Men Open Bodybuilding and Classic Physique divisions, with Wesley Vissers taking the Classic Physique title alongside Foda’s dominant performance.
Foda secured the win with 3 points in judging and 3 points in finals, totaling 6 points. Blessing Awodibu finished 2nd with 13 total points, followed by Elias McCall in 3rd with 17 points. Patrick Moore placed 4th with 24 total points, and Christopher Miller rounded out the top five with 32 points. Mohamed Foda dominated the scorecard, claiming victory with just 6 total points at the 2026 Detroit Pro.
Foda’s victory was built on strong muscle size, conditioning, and overall balance that impressed judges throughout prejudging and finals comparisons. His well-balanced physique, muscle detail, and presentation were decisive factors, and the win was not particularly close over the remaining competitors.
Finals confirmed the prejudging outcomes, reinforcing the consistency of his performance across both rounds.
Coming into the Detroit Pro, Foda had placed 7th at the 2026 Arnold Classic, delivering a solid performance against a tough lineup. Judges and observers noted an improved physique from the Arnold Classic to Detroit, with the victory adding meaningful momentum to his competitive season heading toward the Olympia.
The battle between Foda and Awodibu generated notable attention, with Awodibu making a strong showing on what was described as a comeback appearance. Elias McCall also drew discussion as a dark horse, his physique earning recognition as one of the standout moments of the event.
Christopher Miller was similarly noted for his physique despite placing 5th.
With the Detroit Pro win, Foda secured his spot on the 2026 Mr. Olympia stage, where he will compete against the top bodybuilders in the world. The event was promoted by Fouad Abiad, a former professional bodybuilder who has built the Detroit Pro into a respected fixture on the early season IFBB Pro League calendar. The result positions him with qualifying momentum and a stronger competitive foundation than his Arnold Classic appearance provided earlier in the season.
