The 2026 IFBB Pro season delivered competitive action across multiple events in early March, headlined by the Detroit Pro on March 14 in Dearborn, Michigan, where Blessing Awodibu of the USA topped the Men’s Bodybuilding Open field against an international roster that included Mohamed Foda of the UAE, Eiren Gauley of Canada, and fellow Americans Derek Dolgner and Nathan Epler.
The event drew competitors from across the globe, reflecting the increasingly international character of IFBB Pro competition.
In the mid-tier rankings, Chris Jones and Leandro Sencini Peres of Brazil both finished with 45 points, placing 8th and 9th respectively. Ronald Gordon followed in 10th with 54 points, while Walter Martin landed 11th at 60 points and Abou Konate of the UK secured 12th with 66 points.
Gauley finished 13th with 73 points, and Dolgner closed out the lower rankings in 14th with 77 points, indicating a tightly contested field where point separations were narrow across several placements.
The Detroit Pro ran on the same date as the 2026 Musclecontest Campinas Pro, creating a March 14 cluster of IFBB Pro events. While specific division results from the Campinas Pro were not detailed in available data, its inclusion in the weekend’s IFBB Pro results underscored the density of the early 2026 competition calendar.
One week prior, the 2026 Fitworld Pro on March 7 produced notable results in the Men’s Classic Physique Masters 40+ division, where Josh Cohn of the USA took first place, followed by Travis Ely in second and Tyreese Franks in third, all representing the USA.
A separate division at the same event saw Paulin Tsamezeu finish first, with Krimo Ammari in second, Victor Del Olmo Rubio of Spain in third, Johnson Le in fourth, and Fede Guevara Ferrando in fifth.
Looking ahead, the 2026 calendar continues with the Charlotte Pro on April 4, the Taiwan Pro on April 5, and the UK Pro on April 11, maintaining the season’s steady pace following the competitive February 28 showing at the Musclecontest Japan Pro. Later in the year, the 2026 Ben Weider Natural Pro is scheduled for November 13–15 in Alexandria, VA, organized by Gary Udit and Ron Hache.
